about

recorded on june 8th, 2021. crazy story bout this outro, I originally had a completely different outro recorded over another august beat. it was gonna be called "Mauna Kea" which, along with Mauna Loa, are the 2 highest mountains in hawaii, and many have even claimed on earth. one day august informed me that he had mistakenly given the same beat out to iceberg theory already for their "Horned Monk" album!! Its cool cause I believe everything happens for a reason, so I dove back into my august folder and ended up making an outro 5x better than my previous one. and its this one! it was only right to name it mauna loa, the higher of the 2 mountains! peace to fanon for this shit!

lyrics

Amplified emotions
Banned from town, exile to the oceans
Motion sickness never happen on my boat
I’m smoking potent
Soothing breeze, moving thru the trees
Feeling frozen
Paralyzed by the beauty of this chosen life
Load the dope in the pipe to get my focus right
Then I rise to the skies as karma roll the dice
Sprinkle piff all up in the mixture to get my filter straight
Hearing colors, seeing sounds
Music help me motivate
Load the bays wit faces
And load the baseball plates wit players so I could hit it home and make a replacement
To make payments for the rent you gotta be all in
And right now I’m too broke to be all in
Yo
I can’t do this shit anymore
The post-mortem report is mortifying
Go mourn what you lost
Paid a cost not to be a boss, but to be a god
I sing this odd rhythm and get you focused on where you belong
Clear the bong
Ripping this Durban walker to keep me strong
Merging lanes, murdering lames
Maintain a grimace thru the thickest fog
Sipping water, agua my go-to
Packs of blunts I roll thru
Backwoods fuckin my lungs up as the smoke moves
Back and forth I see the old you
Ghosts and memories combine to form a figure imitating your moves
This life is nifty
Shit get kinda trippy sometimes
Trees provide shade
Shade provide vibes
Word

Viewing new Hawaiian heights up on Mauna Loa
Moving thru the zeitgeist,
Zipping thru the system solar
Seeing how these guys disguise they pride wit lies
Peeping how the games played, gotta personify
Day trips like I’m hiking Mauna Kea
These other muhfuckas I would never wanna be em
Rope pullin' me thru and thru and thru
Floating up high as I cruise

As I sit here

On the edge of this water

Looking out at this beautiful purple sunset

Smoking this fat ass blunt

All I gotta say is wow man

Wow

We on the way home now
But uh

Thank you for listening along the way

And following me along with my journey

This has been my experience of getting Lost & Found: In Paradise!

Thru every bump on the plane ride

Every mountain I climb

I try to do it with as much energy as humanly possible man

For this little corner of life I'm in

Gotta maximize it

My only goal is to try to expand it as much as possible

I need a vessel

Something to propel me

Take me there

Every time I'm on a record that's the goal

Too many people see the mountains in the distance and are satisfied with the view but,

If you can't make your own vehicle to get there

There may be not be any point in this life

So

You gotta try that shit

I'm tryna live in paradise muhfucka

Yeah

Thank you again

Till next time

Peace

Yea yea!
